Small Distilleries Development for Sustainable Bio-fuel Production
The current Kenyan cooking fuel market is dominated by charcoal (14.6%), firewood (54.6%), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) (13.4%), and kerosene (14%) as primary fuels. The continued dependence on polluting fuels, defined by those that release pollutants when burnt such as charcoal, firewood, and kerosene, poses serious health, environmental, and socio-economic costs for Kenya.
